  “Touch yourself.”

I hesitated. He grabbed my hand and placed it over my wet mound. His eyes met mine as he coated our fingers with my juices. I trembled as he pushed one of his and one of my fingers inside me. I was so wet, and my walls sucked us in greedily. He kept stroking his cock as he pumped our fingers in and out repeatedly. With the waves crashing against the shore, the leaves rustling in the trees and the wet sloshing between my legs, I was on the brink in no time.

“Dean… I want you inside me. I’m so close. Please make love to me,” I begged.

“Not yet. Come for me.” He straightened his posture and flicked his tongue against my hard nipple. “Come for us.” His gaze stayed with me as he latched onto the hard tip, twisted our fingers deeper and rubbed my clit with his thumb.

The added pressure and stimulation catapulted my climax. Even if I’d wanted to hold off, I couldn’t. The orgasm burst through me. I screamed his name, emptying the air from my lungs. My body trembled as my release dripped down my leg. I tossed my head back, trying to catch my breath.

“I want to taste your sweet honey again.” He pulled our hands from between my legs and licked the cream from our fingers.

The suction and moans of appreciation only made me hotter with need. I refused to wait any longer. My core was still quivering, but I wanted him to fill me. I shuffled my feet forward until I was over his lap and straddled his legs. He released my hand, and I gripped his shoulders as I lined myself up with his erection.

“Help me out,” I said, lowering onto his lap.

“Gladly.” He rubbed the head of his cock along my folds.

My slit stretched as he pushed the bulbous head into me. It was a tight fit. We moved slowly until every thick inch was inside me. Once he was fully sheathed, I’d never been so full. I swiveled my hips, and he rubbed me in all the right places

“Your pussy is so tight. Perfect like everything about you.”

Our lips smacked together in a heated kiss. His tongue rolled around mine. He tasted like me. I lifted, and he pulled me back down. The rough grind along my inner walls forced a whimper from my lips. We repeated the slow and hard thrusts until my eyes rolled back in my head. My core clenched, and I picked up the pace. Bouncing on his cock, I chased the rainbows.

  “I’m coming. Oh… Oh… Dean… Oh!”

He continued to thrust up into me as I shattered into a billion colorful shards. That was hands down the most intense climax of my life. It rolled on and on as he slammed against my cervix. Dean lifted me from his lap and flipped me over. My hands grated against the log as I bent over. I whimpered from the momentary loss of fullness. The ripples from my climax were still coursing through my veins and yet I wanted more. I needed Dean. All those years with Rich and I had never felt this intense need for him.

“Don’t worry… I’m right here,” he said, pushing back into me. “We’re not stopping until we both come.”

“Yesss,” I hissed as he pounded against me.

His thighs slapped against my ass faster and faster. The relentless thrusts brought me to the edge again, building our connection. Being together like this felt right. Like we were always destined to be together. His grunts grew louder, matching my moans and drowning the sounds of the ocean.

“I’m so close, Arielle. Come with me.” He reached around and rubbed my clit. “Together.”

The relentless friction coaxed another mind-blowing climax to the surface. “Dean! I’m with you,” I yelled as I clenched around him.

His teeth clamped onto my shoulder as he found his release. The heat spread deep. He kept pumping his hips slowly until he emptied himself completely. The air whooshed out of me when I realized we hadn’t used a condom. It was too late to grab one. We should have been more cautious, but I wouldn’t have changed a single second of the experience. I probably should have been freaking out but getting pregnant wouldn’t be so bad. The idea of Dean filling me with his seed and building a family together actually sounded perfect.

I stood as he pulled out. Our combined fluids dripped down my leg. He spun me around and kissed me hard. I melted into his arms. I felt safe and desired. But as the orgasm subsided, I worried maybe we’d moved too quickly. He claimed he loved me, but I had no idea what he wanted from this relationship. Did he even want babies? Maybe all he wanted was a part-time girlfriend. Someone to fuck on a weekly basis like Richard. Those fears nipped at the back of my brain. I stiffened.

  “What’s wrong?”

“We didn’t use a condom.” I worried my lip between my teeth.

He smirked and shrugged his shoulders. It was unfair for him to look that sexy when I was sure to look like a hot mess. His fingers trailed down my arms.

  “I’m clean. You’re clean. I don’t see the issue.”

  “What if we get pregnant?”

His smile widened showing a row of perfect white teeth. “I’ll take your concern as confirmation that you’re not on the pill.”

“I stopped taking it when Rich and I broke up. Figured there was no need to keep taking hormones. I hadn’t expected to… you know.”

  “Fall in love so quickly?”

I didn’t answer. This would have been a good time to admit I loved him, but until I knew we were on the same page, it was more prudent to keep that locked inside. His breathtaking smile never wavered as he waited for a response that wasn’t coming.

After a minute, he tucked his magnificent cock back inside his shorts, tied them and sat. He yanked me onto his lap. I didn’t protest and wrapped my arms around his neck, enjoying the closeness.

“I’ll confess that I wouldn’t mind knocking you up. It may be one of those fantasies that have fueled my spank bank for the past few years.”

An involuntary laugh escaped. “You masturbate to an image of me fat and waddling. You’ve got issues.”

He nipped at my shoulder. “I jerk off thinking about you naked and smiling at me like you are now. It turns me on to imagine filling you with my cum.” His hand slid up my thigh and covered my sex. “I’m getting hard again knowing my sperm is inside you. Makes me want to add more and make sure you get pregnant. Are you getting wet picturing it?”

Two fingers danced along my wet folds. I shamelessly rubbed myself against his hand. Every word he uttered turned me on too. Yet my voice disappeared. My body knew what it wanted, but I couldn’t say it out loud. I swallowed and looked to the sky for answers.

“See you’re not really worried either. Because we belong together. I think you’d look hot with my baby growing inside you.” He placed his other hand over my stomach, and it growled. “Shit. Let’s get some food in you. We can talk more about the future once you’re fed.”

  “Offer accepted.”

  Chapter 7

  DEAN

Making love to her was the highlight of my life. Better than winning football games or completing a restoration job. The high outweighed riding my motorcycle for the first time. Nothing would ever feel as amazing as sinking into Arielle and feeling her tight walls stretch and suck me in deeper. I’d always known we’d be explosive together, but it was even better.

  We belonged together.

Adding a baby to our life would only be an added blessing. My old man had drilled into my head that once I found ‘the one’ my future would become clearer. I used to laugh, but he was right. Everything I ever wanted was within my reach. I had no intention of letting her or my future happiness slip through my hands.

As I watched Arielle chew on a strawberry I’d smuggled out of the resort, I could see an entire lifetime of moments like this. Just the two of us enjoying each other’s company. We sat next to each other at the edge of the surf with our toes in the water. The rest of the world faded away.

“You’re staring,” she said before taking another bite.

“I can’t help it. You have my full attention.”

This trip had been a game changer. I’d once expected to be an eternal bachelor like my older brother. Blake refused to
settle down, and he’d recently sworn off dating entirely. He seemed less stressed. After a string of bad dates, I figured he was on to something. I didn’t need love to be happy. I had cars and my crazy, intrusive family. It was enough. At least that’s what I told myself, but not anymore.

She swallowed and licked her lips. “Dean… I wish I knew what you were thinking. When you look at me, there’s an intensity I don’t remember seeing before.”

“It’s always been there. The intensity. The connection. Probably from day one, but you weren’t looking closely.” I stole a bite from the strawberry in her hand and enjoyed the way her breathing changed when my tongue connected with her skin.

“I’ve always seen you, Dean. But you were holding back. This is different.”

  “Different good or bad?”

“Neither.” Her lips covered mine. The brief contact made us both shiver. “Feels right. Never hold back again.”

The clouds provided reprieve from the sun, but it was still warm and getting hotter every second. I would have been perfectly content to lounge naked on our private beach, but Arielle had redressed. A layer of clothing divided us, but I planned to remove it as soon as she finished eating.

“I won’t,” I vowed and draped my arm over her shoulder.

Her body curled against mine as she swallowed another mouthful of fruit. Before we’d left the room, I’d emptied the contents of the mini fridge into my bag. I knew she’d need something. Arielle polished off the cheese, crackers and the last of the strawberries. Her stomach stopped growling, and she seemed relaxed and satiated. Several bottles of liquor, water and chocolate bars were all we had left. Enough to make it through the night.

“So… we just… we had sex and now what?”

“We made love,” I corrected. “When you fuck and connect like we did, it’s more than sex.”

“Okay.” She knotted her fingers on her lap. “Making love kind of moves our relationship beyond friends. When we leave paradise, where do you see this going?”

I scratched the top of my head. She needed a place to live. Staying with her parents was temporary. Since the breakup, they’d been fighting, and she wasn’t happy there. I wanted her with me.

  “Move in with me.”

A puff of air whooshed from Arielle and she covered her chest. “What?”

“Move. In. With. Me,” I reiterated. “You need a place and I want you with me. We can make love morning, noon and night.”

She blinked and stared at me like I was a puzzle she couldn’t piece together. I grabbed her hands and gazed into her wide brown eyes. Telling her I loved her hadn’t scared her away. She wanted to build a future with someone, and I planned to be that man. Dating was a way for two strangers to get to know each other. We’d moved past that stage. I knew everything about Arielle. I loved every part of her.

Her eyes drifted to my cock, and she chewed her lip. “That’s huge. I mean it’s a very big step.”

“It’s big. But we’ll make it work.”

“I can’t just move in with you. Blake and Owen wouldn’t want me around.”

My brother and cousin would deal with it. It would only be temporary until we got our own place. Our future was painted as clear as the ocean landscape in front of me.

“Leave my family to me. What’s holding you back?”

“Everything is happening rather fast. What you’re proposing isn’t bad, but it’s completely unexpected. This was supposed to be an engagement trip. Not a—”

  “Then marry me.”

The waves lapped at our feet as Arielle swallowed whatever words she’d planned to say. Her mouth hung open and her body trembled. I should have waited. My proposal had obviously startled her. It was more of a demand than a question. I didn’t want to take it back, but I had to smooth it over. Make it more romantic.

I kissed the tips of her fingers as the breeze rustled the leaves in the trees nearby. “You dreamed of having this beautiful ocean as the backdrop for your engagement memories. I want to make all your dreams come true. If you’ll let me, I promise to love you and make you happy for the rest of our lives. You’re my best friend. There is no one on this planet I would rather have by my side than you. Will you marry me?”

I waited with bated breath for her answer. Unfortunately, I’d be waiting a lot longer. The moment she released her lip from between her teeth, four men with guns burst from the forest. They had stars on their hats and blue uniforms. We jumped to our feet, and I protectively hid Arielle behind me. My eyes were fixed on the guns pointed at us.

“Policia,” they screamed, running towards us. “Alto!”

“Calm down. We have done nothing wrong,” I said, lifting my hands in the air.

As they grabbed my arms, I didn’t protest. They yanked me away from Arielle and slapped cuffs on my wrists. They did the same to her. Once we were shackled, they lowered their guns and dragged us down the beach.

“You have to tell us what we did wrong,” I said. “You can’t just arrest us for no reason. We have rights.”

They mumbled in Spanish but didn’t explain. With every step from the ocean, panic spread through my gut. We were in a foreign country and anything could happen.

“What’s this about?” Her voice was shaky and full of fear.

No one answered our questions. They forced us into the back of their police truck. A short drive later, we were tossed into a cell. There was no processing or fingerprints taken. No charges explained. At least if I knew what we’d done wrong, I’d be able to fix it.

The jail had three empty cells and no windows. It was cold, dirty and the harsh, overhead lighting cast shadows in every corner. The place looked like something out of a horror film.

“We have the right to call a lawyer. I want a phone call,” I demanded, wrapping my hands around the bars.

The man chuckled and slammed the cell door closed. “Quiet and get comfortable. You’ll be here a while,” he said and left.

I released the bars and hugged Arielle. She was quiet and trembled in my arms. We sat on the concrete bench and I tried to reassure her. It had to be a misunderstanding. They had the wrong people and once they realized it, we’d be set free. But in a place where money talks and corruption ran rampant, I had my doubts. At least we were together.

“Dean, I have a bad feeling about this. My gut tells me this won’t end well.”

“Yeah.” I kissed the top of her head. “Let’s talk about something else. Something not so doom and gloom.”

With her head planted against my chest, she looked up at me. “Pick a topic.”

“What kind of wedding do you want?”

  “Are you serious?”

“Yes,” I answered, sweeping stray hairs away from her forehead. “Big or small? City or country? Tell me about the type of wedding we’re going to have.”

“We. You’re pretty sure of yourself.”

“Don’t give me your answer here. When we get out of here, I’m going to show you.” I leaned down and captured her lips. “Over and over, how sure I am of us.”

My mouth covered hers and she responded. She hadn’t told me she loved me. Hadn’t said yes to moving in or getting married, but her answer was delivered. With every lick and stroke of her tongue against mine, I knew how she felt. She was mine.

As she moaned into my mouth, locks clicked in the background. I tore my eyes from her. The same guard returned, and he wasn’t smiling.

“You.” He pointed at Arielle. “Out.”

She scrambled to her feet and adjusted her dress. “Where are you taking me?”

I stepped forward with her, but the guard pushed me backwards. The force of his thrust slammed my body against the back wall. By the time I advanced again, he’d closed the cell door with Arielle on the other side with him. He turned her around and cuffed her again. Her eyes pleaded with me to help her, but I couldn’t save her. I pulled on the cell bars as he took her away. It was useless. The main door closed behind them with a loud thud, leaving me a
lone with my overactive imagination.

Locked in a Mexican prison, I had no idea what they were doing to her. I felt helpless, and that was foreign to me. I had to be smart and not lose my shit. Attacking guards wouldn’t help my situation. Spending the night in prison wasn’t a first, but I hoped it would be my last.

  Chapter 8

  ARIELLE

Every step felt like I was trudging through quicksand. As soon as the door closed, my feet stopped moving. The officer yelled, but I wouldn’t budge. I refused to go anywhere until he or his fellow officers explained what was going on.

“Tell me why we’re here. Why are you separating us?”

Frustrated by my lack of progress down the long hall, he removed his gun from its holster and pointed it at me. “Muévelo,” he said and motioned for me to move.

Even with my limited Spanish, I understood it was time to go. His size didn’t intimidate me, but the gun did. Besides the brief encounter on the beach, I’d never had a gun pointed at me. For some reason, it hadn’t scared me as much before as it did now. Maybe it was because I was alone. Anything could happen and no one would know. I shuffled forward slowly while the angry officer mumbled under his breath.

The handcuffs dug into my skin. My wrists and heart ached. I didn’t want to leave Dean behind, but I had no choice.

  “Where are you taking me?”

His response involved pressing the barrel of the gun against the small of my back, forcing me ahead faster. We passed by several doors along the grimy and dark corridor, but never stopped until we reached the end.

He reached past me, unlocked the door and pushed it open. “Go and don’t come back.”

A blast of hot, humid air greeted me. I breathed it in and relaxed my shoulders. “If I’m free, then un-cuff me.”

He laughed and shook his head. “In a moment.” He gripped my arms with more force than necessary as he escorted me outside.

As I looked across the small parking lot, I spotted my ex wearing a red polo shirt and khaki pants. Seeing his cocky smile made my blood boil. I should have known Richard was behind the incarceration. His tall frame leaned against a jeep and he waved like I should be happy to see him.
